Oh Goodness What a Crazy Year

It is hard to believe that it has been a year since I last put up a blog post. During that time I was a preschool teacher and had little time for my art. Now that things have started to settle down and I have turned back to being a full time artist I have returned to my blog.

Right now my family and I have been working on some home renovations so things are still a bit crazy.

This is just one of the three rooms we have gutted so far. Let me tell you, there is something a bit cathartic about helping tear down a wall with a hammer.

Even with all the hard work on the house I have been working on some new glass pieces! I decided to go with shades of blue, grey and light green which is a potential new color palate for our living area.

This is the first from the new batch. More of them to come in my Etsy Shop FusedElegance over the next few days!

Sweet Holidays

With the holidays coming quickly into view who could possibly resist some delectable sugary treats? While browsing Etsy for fantastic gift ideas while my latest batch of glasswork melts I came across The Frosted Petticoat, which features some adorable candy goodness.

25 Chocolate Steampunk Gears

25 Edible Chocolate Buttons

Thanks for reading and have a fantastic Thanksgiving!

An Artists Return

Oh goodness it has been awhile since I have updated this blog! I found myself out with some medical issues, but now I am back and feeling more motivated then ever!

During my time off I managed to complete a new design in glass I have been working for a few months now.

The swallowtail butterfly wing design is the newest member of my growing glass work portfolio. This protype piece has already been claimed by my grandmother (I mean who can say no to grandma!?) and the second one I made was snatched up at an art show I attended before I could manage to get a picture of it.

Now to figure out more colors to use for this pattern!

As always you can find my glass creations for sale here: In My Etsy Shop!
